Giving Thanks

I hope you had a great Thanksgiving. I had one that was full of memories and great times. I spent some time with amazing friends up in the North Carolina mountains. We sat around and talked about what we were thankful for and all I could think is that God has provided so much more than I could of ever asked. You might think that I’m talking about things along the lines of career… but I’m talking about the foundation of it all, Salvation. The fact that he would come and see fit to call me one of His own creates in me a gratitude that cannot be expressed in words. I want so bad for this thought to go beyond today and become a part of the way that I love and live.

I want anyone that I come in contact with to be inundated by the love that I’m showing them because of the love the Christ continually shows me. May we always be reminded that Thanksgiving is an attitude of our heart. Wishing you the best.

    Thanks for taking your talent for music and love for Jesus and sharing both with the world. I wish you God’s best for the rest of 2009 and all of 2010. The video for “Immanuel” is incredible. I love the song, but watching it come to life is even better.

    Anthony, I couldnt agree with you more. Thanksgiving has to be one of my most favorite holidays, other than Christmas. It is a time when we can reach out to those who are alone or hurting, bring them into our circle of family and friends and simply share the gift of Jesus’ love, by having a servants heart. Making sure they feel loved. I’m sure that act of love and kindness pleases our Father to His heart. Thank you Father everyday for your most precious gift of all!

    As Christians we definitely have so much to be thankful for, especially that through the blood of Jesus we are made new. The old falls away and is remembered no more and we are COMPLETELY NEW! Praise God! I have seen this in my own life. I have seen the woman I was, that was broken and lost be transformed into the woman God sees. One that has purpose and value. I am so in love with my Savior.

    I had a dream not long ago… that as our coffe runs through a filter so should everything that comes out of us be filtered through Christ and just as contagious as a yawn is…so should the Jesus that reflects from us be contagious to those around us. That is my prayer, that I am the ambassador for Christ that I should be.

    Thank you Jesus for loving me and for giving your life for me.

    Since I bought your album, The Bridge, last summer, your music has been playing every morning when I do my quiet time & bible study. What a blessing. Your song “The Way You Love Me” is a personal anthem for me. Then I got your Christmas album and was equally moved. Expected the wonderful Christmas classics but was surprised by the Motown groove of “What Christmas Means” and the honesty behind “Where are you Christmas?” – encouraging to know I’m not the only one with those feelings about Christmas. I’m thankful to have discovered your God-given gift of song & worship in 2009 and look forward to what the future has in store for AE fans everywhere. God Bless & Merry Christmas!

    Whenever I read your journal entries they always make me smile because you are bold enough to show us glimpses of the man behind the music with honesty and integrity. You host a very heavy mantle dear one, and I thank the Father you are willing to allow him to keep you strong under it.     I so thankful that God is keeping me. He has given me a new life. A life of meaning . Jesus is my best friend I love HIM SOOOO much. I ‘m so thankful that HE wants me to win .
